Terms of Service

Service Engagement

• By requesting our services, a service agreement is formed between you (the customer) and TrueFix Appliance Repair.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your appliance and the issue at hand.
• We commit to delivering professional repair or installation services with care and within a reasonable timeframe.

Scope of Services

• TrueFix Appliance Repair specializes in appliance repair, installation, and associated services as described on our website or communicated directly.
• The scope of work is confirmed following the technician's on-site diagnosis.

Diagnostic Service Call

• A Diagnostic Service Call fee is required at the time of the first visit for each appliance.
• This fee is applied toward the total cost of the approved repair.
• The service call is non-refundable and non-transferable to other appliances.

Pricing & Payments

• You'll receive a quote for services before any work is carried out.
• Full payment is due upon completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and e-transfers.
• If additional parts or services are needed, we'll inform you and proceed only with your approval.

Warranty Coverage

• Standard Repairs: 6-month warranty on parts and labor.
• Sealed System Repairs: 6-month warranty on parts and labor.
• Warranty applies only to the work performed by TrueFix Appliance Repair and does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorized service, or unrelated issues.
• Installed parts are final sale. Returns of unused or canceled parts are subject to:
  • 15% restocking fee
  • $20 shipping & handling fee (plus applicable tax)
• Parts on backorder that are canceled will incur a 20% cancellation fee.

Limitation of Liability

• TrueFix Appliance Repair is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• Our liability is limited to the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service.

Privacy Protection

We value your privacy and protect your personal information.

Cancellation & Termination

• Either party may cancel services at any time with written notice.
• If services are terminated after work has begun, payment is still required for work completed and any non-returnable parts ordered.

Legal Terms

• These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
• Any disputes will be handled in the courts of the Province of Ontario.

Updates to These Terms

• TrueFix Appliance Repair may update these Terms without prior notice.
• Changes take effect once posted on our website. Continued use of our services confirms your acceptance.
